The modern and elegant 4*
Hotel Fanabe Costa Sur is located in a quiet area of the modern resort of
Playa de Fanabe. Situated 2kilometres from downtown Playa las Americas the hotel is just
300m from the fine sandy beach of Playa de Fanabe that offers all kinds of
facilities such as sun beds, umbrellas, bars, shopping centre, water sports
etc. From the rooftop terrace of the hotel you can enjoy the wonderful views
of Playa De Las Americas, the sea and the island of La Gomera.
The
hotel provides a total of 428 elegant and spacious rooms, all of which are
equipped with modern amenities and tastefully decorated in light neutral colours. The standard air-conditioned guest rooms are external, with sea,
mountain or pool view, or terrace with table and chairs. All rooms have a full en-suite bathroom,
hairdryer, cable/satellite TV with music channels, pay movies, direct line
telephone, mini bar and safe to rent. There are specially adapted rooms for
disabled people. Family rooms (same as the double but with an extra day sofa)
as well as interconnecting rooms are also available.
The hotel has a non-smoking restaurant serving
buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Once a week there is a traditional
Canaries style dinner with folklore music and another day is dedicated to
Italian gastronomy. The cafeteria is open 09.00-01.00 and snack bar open
10.00-18.00.
The Fanabe Costa Sur offers various recreational
facilities, which include a gym/fitness centre, spa area with jacuzzi, Turkish bath, spacious
solarium (with a separate area for nudism) and sauna. Sporting facilities include, tennis, table tennis, volleyball,
basketball, mini golf and French boules. The circular main swimming pool has
a children's area, and there are also two rooftop pools and a poolside snack
bar. An area is set aside for nude sunbathing.
There are four lifts for clients and the
hotel is easily accessible for wheelchair use.
