With the variety of tee options available, the Nicklaus Course caters for golfers of all abilities. Described as a "thinking man's golf course" it incorporates several double option holes such as the 7th and 15th where players will have to choose from which of the two fairways to approach the green. The course offers a scenic, yet strategic test of golf, where position, more so than length, is required.

The bunkering, with its use of traditional British shapes and sizes has a strong strategic influence and creates a visual effect in keeping with the pastoral Cheshire landscape. The exciting dog leg 17th hole, demands an accurate tee shot to avoid the lake, and leads to an exciting and demanding finish, with the 18th giving a final opportunity for a birdie.

The 6824yrd Cheshire Course makes use of the true potential offered by its position in the Cheshire countryside. From the 18th tee you have a panoramic view of the Cheshire plain stretching out to the hills of the Welsh borders. This Par 72 Parkland Course, has some tough, yet interesting holes to contend with. With the Ha-Ha running through the the 2nd, 11th, & 14th holes, along with the lake surrounding your approach shot to the 12th Green, the Cheshire Course is certainly a

good test of golf. The course builds up to a dramatic and scenic finish, with the tough closing 16th & 17th holes, followed by the panoramic views from the 18th tee set atop the sandstone cliffs, overlooking the resort and the Welsh Hills, it will be one round of golf to remember.
